New issues: Marshall Islands - "Signs of the Zodiac"

On January 5, 2010, the Marshall Islands Postal Service issued 12 new stamps featuring the signs of the Zodiac.
For centuries, astrology has been used to gain an understanding of human behavior. According to astrologers, personality is influenced by the position of the stars, planets, the moon and the sun, and also by where these celestial bodies are aligned at the moment of one's birth. Traits such as shyness, independence, ambition, compassion, optimism and generosity are manifested to a greater or lesser degree in each person depending on his astrological sign. Each sign of the Zodiac is expressed in terms of one of four elements, Fire, Earth, Air and Water, as well as planetary influences and symbols representing animals, objects or people. The twelve signs of the Zodiac are: Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn.
